Sometimes the words right in front of you know you better than the person standing next to you.
It listens and understands what others can't figure out, and it tells you what you need to hear because it speaks your language and knows your heart. It somehow knows what you've been through. It shares the same soul.
It is neither two steps ahead or behind you; it will wait for you. The tears, the doubt, even if cast aside, it will wait humbly, but its words never falter. It will remind you what others will forget. It will not judge.
It will make you laugh, like whispers between two and no one else. It possesses the wisdom that you never realized you had in yourself. It makes you want more; only your impatience will make it lie.
And when you look away, you feel safe and reassured that you are not alone. It keeps a secret part of you remembered.

and yes, in japan for 2 more weeks. my contract is over! my plans afterwards are BIG....but it's a secret since you're not in my "circle of trust" :) mwa ha ha..
